Where do I stay?
The Summit will be taking place in the San Francisco Marriott. There are a limited number of discounted rooms available there. You can also stay at the Argent (1 block away), the Renaissance Parc 55 (3 blocks away) or the Handlery Union Square (4 blocks away). Just click here to register with the hotel of your choice mentioned above. If you need a live voice, call the Summit Housing Bureau at 1.800.424.5256. Please be sure to mention that you are with CTAM.
How about some cheap flights?
CTAM has negotiated with Executive Travel Associates for special fares with American Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways to reduce the cost of attendee travel. You must make your flight arrangements at least 7 days prior to departure, but ETA strongly recommends 21 days to ensure a reduced ticket price. If you make reservations 60 days in advance you will receive an additional 5% off the discounted ticket price. Please use the following reference numbers: American: 5071B, United: 551TY, US Airways: GF14191768. ETA's number is 800.498.2270.
What about the rolling blackouts?
Not into conferences by candlelight? Don't worry, we're on top of the issue. CTAM is working diligently with the San Francisco Marriott to make sure you won't even need to pack a flashlight.
Fortunately,
according to Pacific Gas and Electric, the Marriott is located
in the San Francisco Downtown Priority Grid.
This grid is composed of a “dual-circuit network,”
which allows the grid a back-up emergency circuit in case the
first circuit has an interruption in service.
Another advantage for us being located on this grid is
PG&E would have to disrupt power in every single zone in
Northern California before ever causing a power outage on the
Priority Grid.
As many of you know, this type of statewide blackout
would be an extreme and highly unlikely occurrence.
However, in case this very rare situation takes place,
The Marriott is prepared with an emergency generator that would
allow the hotel to operate with power for approximately 48-72
hours.
Where's all the action?
The Summit educational sessions will be held at the San Francisco Marriott. The evening parties and bashes will be held at various booming venues around the area.
What do I wear?
We want you to relax and be comfortable. That's why business casual attire is suggested. For evening excursions, don't forget that San Francisco can get very chilly! We strongly encourage you to bring a warm jacket.
Can I register onsite?
Yes, you may register at the Onsite Registration Counter. There is an additional $50 fee for onsite registration.
How do I get my badge?
If you have registered before June 22, you will receive your badge in the mail. Please bring your badge to San Francisco. There is a $10 fee for lost badges. When you arrive at the San Francisco Marriott, you may pick-up your conference materials at the Summit Program Pick-up Counter.
If you did not receive your Summit badge in the mail, please pick-up your badge and conference materials at the Pre-Registration counter. Badges will be listed under your last name.
What if I registered for a Master Course after I received my badge?
If you registered for a Master Course after you received your badge, your Master Course ticket will be at the Pre-Registration counter under your last name.
May I bring a guest to the social events?
Yes, guest passes are available at the Onsite Registration Desk for $40 per day. The one-day pass includes all drinks, food, and entertainment for the evening reception and party.
