CTAM Recognizes Matthew C. Blank as 2003 Grand TAM Award Winner
(Alexandria, VA – June 3, 2003) CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing) announces the recipient of the Grand TAM Award,
Matthew C. Blank, Chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks Inc. He will be honored during a special keynote presentation at
The CTAM Summit, The Art & Science of Marketing: Strategy. Creative.
Results., scheduled for July 20-23, 2003 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle.
The Grand TAM Award is CTAM’s highest honor, presented annually to a distinguished, industry marketing leader. This award recognizes the time, talent and commitment Matt Blank has made to ensure the future of the industry through marketing, education and leadership. Blank’s marketing prowess at Showtime knows No Limits! As Chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks Inc., he has overall responsibility for all of Showtime Networks’ channels, multiplexes, and Showtime Pay Per View. During Blank’s tenure, he has helped transform the network into one of the most successful premium channels. Blank has also taken on many leadership roles in the industry through the NCTA, and he has demonstrated his extraordinary leadership and support of CTAM over the years.

Blank has been with Showtime since 1988, assuming the position of President and Chief Operating Officer in 1991, followed by President and Chief Executive Officer. Before that he served as Executive Vice President, Marketing, Showtime Networks Inc.
