As Vice Chairman at Young & Rubicam Brands, June
drives growth initiatives across the marketing services agency.
She is also responsible for the agency’s global telecom
practice, the largest of its kind, representing hundreds of
fixed and wireless service providers and systems makers around
the world.
Before returning to YRB in 2002, June launched a
venture backed, ecommerce business called Upromise, designed to
help American families earn and save money for college, which
was recognized as one of the top most innovative business
concepts of that year.
Prior to that she was President of Hill Holiday,
where she helped them win the designation “Agency of the Year”
for the first time in thirteen years.
Before that she was here at YRB for several
years. She led a successful effort to reposition the AT&T brand,
resulting in their being named “Advertiser of the Year” in 1997
for the first time in history.
In the mid nineties, June was Director of
International Marketing at Snapple Beverage Corporation, where
she engineered all aspects of the marketing mix to “Snapplize
the Planet”. She earned the accolade “the World’s first Global
Hometown Brand” by Ad Age magazine.
Prior to that she spent ten plus years at Ogilvy
& Mather. Among other things, she led the repositioning of the
American Express Personal Card under the long running
“Membership has its Privileges” campaign, helping American
Express earn the designation “Marketer of the Decade”.
June holds a BA from Georgetown University, and
an MBA from the George Washington University. She lives in
Larchmont NY with her husband Steve, their two children Stephen
and Chelsea, and their dog, Luke.
