Donald
J. MacDonald is vice president of the Digital Home Group and
general manager of the Digital Home Group for Intel
Corporation.
Previously, MacDonald was the vice president of the Sales
and Marketing Group and director of Worldwide Branding and
Operations. He was responsible for all marketing operations
worldwide, including global branding, consumer and business
marketing, advertising, marketing communications,
co-marketing, corporate market research, the Intel Inside®
program, Internet marketing and channel marketing programs.
MacDonald was director of marketing for the Mobile Platforms
Group, responsible for driving growth in the notebook
computing segment and for defining and executing the
marketing plan for Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology.
He has
also served as director of marketing for Intel Japan,
responsible for marketing Intel Architecture products. He
has also held a number of other management positions since
joining Intel in 1987.
MacDonald received his law degree from University of
Lancaster, England in 1983. He is an Intel Achievement Award
recipient.
