Chapter News
CTAM West held their 2nd annual Cable Apprentice event and Holiday party. Attendees watched as graduate student teams representing LMU, UCLA and USC competed in a “Marketing to Gen Y” case study. $3,000 was awarded to the winning team. 
CTAM Florida partnered with the WICT Greater Florida chapter for a Holiday Social in Orlando, FL.  Attendees came together for Holiday cheer while supporting Toys for Tots.
CTAM Rocky Mountains held another successful Holiday Gala with NAMIC and WICT.  This red carpet event featured great food, beautiful decor and the jazz band Dotsero.
CTAM Georgia gathered to celebrate another successful year.  Due to popular raffle items and the generosity of the participating associations, more than $1,500 was raised for the Atlanta Chapter of Cable Positive.
CTAM Carolinas celebrated the holiday season with a gathering at The Sunset Club in Charlotte, NC, where they donated $5000 to Time Warner Cable’s Carolina Region for their charity of choice.
CTAM New York held its annual holiday party at Charlie Palmer’s Metrazur and partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities to donate toys.  


Meet the President

Meet Bruce Levinson, Vice President, TV Networks Distribution, NBC Universal and President, CTAM Texas. Here are five fun facts about Bruce to help you get to know him better:
 
Favorite TV Show?  
I love the genius of 30 Rock (and it's on NBC, of course!) 

Favorite vacation spot?
My wife and I went to Tahiti and Moorea last summer.  We stayed in one of those cabanas out over the ocean with a glass floor.  It was amazing.

Hidden talent?
I can sing Staying Alive from the Bee Gees in full falsetto, but it will cost someone big bucks to get me to do it.     

Fun fact not many people know?
I swam the fastest breast stroke for 10 year old Jewish kids via the national JCC games in 1972

What’s your favorite CTAM moment?
Our first CTAM Texas Chili Cook-off.  After it was over, we knew that we had hit on a great idea for our chapter.
