Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and the key demand drivers
that motivate your customers. The second installment focused
on non-traditional On Demand content and free On Demand.
-
Four marketing tracks at the Cable Congress
in Berlin, Germany. Topics included: “Sharing a Mission –
Cable & Content on the same team”, “Connecting with the

affecting viewers’ consumption and buying behaviors. The webcast
speakers talked to 27 attendees about how their corner of our
industry has been impacted.
CTAM
Midwest
kicked off both the OCTA and the North Central shows with the
panel discussion, “Marketing with a Lean Budget.” With more than
140 in attendance, the discussion focused on the differences in
marketing cable in a down economy, and recognized that while
cable is not recession proof, it is recession resistant.
CTAM West
presented "Full Speed Ahead" at their Leadership Summit for more
than 130 attendees. A powerhouse panel of experts agreed that we
are experiencing one of the most interesting times ever.
Companies are hunkering down in order to adapt and move quickly

MEMBER BENEFITS SPOTLIGHT
Television, Online,
Mobile: A Deep Dive Into the Three-Screen Experience
This
study takes an in-depth look not only at what consumers are
doing across platforms (through behavioral data), but, more
importantly, at who they are, how they relate to new
technologies, and their needs states and drivers for usage of
content on various platforms - with a wealth of information that
identifies segments of the broadband population and brings them
to life for marketers and advertisers alike. These data are
critical for strategy-makers to fully understand the dynamics at
play within the marketplace as they shape new product offers.

MEET THE PRESIDENT

Meet Chad Raub, Investment Partner, Dawn
Capital and President, CTAM
Europe. Here are five fun facts about Chad to help you get
to know him better:
Where do you live?
I live in London, England.
What is your favorite TV Show?
I enjoy documentaries by the Brit Louis Theroux, son of the
American travel writer Paul Theroux, particularly those with
American themes. I thought the recent HBO mini-series on John
Adams was superb. Unfortunately, neither is on every week, so “MadMen,”
which recently came to the UK, would have to be my current
favorite. And for those of you who haven’t seen it, there is a
great UK spy drama, called “Spooks,” which is a more realistic
version of “24.”
What is a fun fact that people may not know about you?
I am big fan of the Green Bay Packers and was once named
Cheesehead of the month.
If a movie were made about your life, which actor would
play your character?
Harrison Ford. I met him this summer over dinner at the EAA air
show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and I thought he was a really good
guy and not too full of himself despite his success. But ideally
a younger version of him as he has a few years on me at the
moment.
What’s your favorite CTAM moment?
What I generally like about CTAM, are the events when a great
group of talented and interesting people congregate to explore
serious issues facing the industry, but somehow always find the
time to have some fun and network too. People involved with CTAM
are very passionate, and it is great to see such committed
people learning from each other at networking events.
