A MONTHLY LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING AT CTAM'S 15 CHAPTERS - MAY 2010
Preview: This Month's "Meet the President"

“My most meaningful experience as chapter president has been the opportunity to work with such a great group of people; to help lead a team that has tremendous impact on our business.  In order to get involved in a CTAM board, you really have to have networked yourself well in your area.  The NY board is top notch with a number of really great players that given the opportunity, I would hire at my company in an instant.”

Barbara Kalosieh, Scripps Networks, Director, National Accounts and President, CTAM New York

Meet the President
Meet Barbara Kalosieh, Scripps Networks, Director, National Accounts and President, CTAM New York. Here are five fun facts about Barbara to help you get to know her better

Favorite TV Show?
Too many to name – Curb Your Enthusiasm, Big Love, Grey’s Anatomy.  God Bless the DVR!

Favorite song?
Gosh…that changes weekly – right now I’m loving “In My Head” by Jason Derulo and “Better Days” by The Goo Goo Dolls

Decade or era that best suits your personality?
There’s no time like the present.  2010 is the decade that best suits my personality.  Today offers young professionals endless opportunities for those who are hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, energetic and intelligent.  I thrive on today’s fast paced, no nonsense business environment.  I’m a no nonsense kind of person.  I also think that we all determine our own destiny.  Every decision we make charts the course of our lives.  Hard work, determination, and a belief in yourself can only land you in one direction – a positive one.

If a movie were made about your life, which actor/actress would play your character?
I’ve always been told I look like Cybill Shepherd or Elisabeth Shue…so I’d have to go for one of them.

What’s your favorite CTAM moment?
My proudest moment was an event we actually did just recently with CTAM New York…Cable Interacts.  We far exceeded our registration goals and it was extremely well received.  I was so proud of the entire team that worked so hard to make this event happen.
