Industry executives will discuss where the broadband video market is heading: “Business Services: Cable’s Emerging Growth Edge” and “How Cable is Succeeding in Broadband Video.”

CTAM TeleSeminar
The 15th Annual TeleSeminar proudly presents “Understanding Viewer Multi-Screen Migration.” Join Amy Banse, Comcast Interactive; Dallas Clement, Cox Communications; Dave Evans, Rainbow Media Holdings LLC; and Perkins Miller, NBC Universal to hear how these executives are building their business strategies for TV, Internet and mobile. The event will be moderated by Will Richmond of VideoNuze and sponsored by AMC and Fuse. The TeleSeminar, hosted by CTAM New York, will broadcast live from Fuse studios.

CTAM Carolinas – NCCTA Summer Meeting
CTAM Carolinas will explore how to market in an economic downturn and still make money. In the panel discussion “Tough Times, Great Opportunities,” panelists will discuss challenges such as cord cutters, new technologies, new products and the question that everyone is asking, "How do we remain profitable?"

CTAM Rocky Mountains – 17th Annual Golf Tournament
At this year's golf tournament, attendees from cable companies, content providers and industry partners will pair up to try to shoot the lowest score at the Golf Club at Bear Dance in Larkspur, Colorado.

CHAPTER NEWS

CTAM Florida and FCTA joined forces at the Florida Cable Connection in Key Biscayne for a two day regional event where 180 members were able to experience a broader view of the industry. Some of the topics discussed were growth in today's economy, the state of Web 2.0 today and TV Everywhere.

CTAM Midwest’s signature event, BallTAM, drew nearly 200 attendees to Chicago where an all-star panel of MSO executives and industry experts stressed that successful branding begins with management. Leaders learned that they need to set the tone for how a company treats their customers and, if done correctly, the rest of the workforce will follow. 

CTAM Washington-Baltimore held its 5th Annual SeaTAM event with more than 125 in attendance. This unique networking event began with a gathering at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and ended with a two-hour cruise along the Severn River aboard The Lady Sara. 

CTAM West held their B2B Conference in Las Vegas and received rave reviews by all 42 members in attendance. Round table discussions focused on Web marketing, referral programs, telemarketing, vertical segmentation and marketing.

I live in Kennett Square, PA (suburban Philadelphia) which happens to be the mushroom capital of the world (we are very proud - HA!). I moved from the “Big Apple” to “big mushroom” land!
