After 20 years in the cable industry my most meaningful experience is the ability to help those in our industry connect with one another, whether someone is trying to make contact with that important executive or looking for a job.  That means a lot to me.”

Joan Wilson, Vice President of Business Services, CTAM

Did you know that in addition to being a former CTAM New York chapter president, Joan was a CTAM U. class of 2010 participant? The class was held at the Harvard Business School, June 13 – 18.

“I found CTAM U. to be stimulating on so many levels, sparking new ways of evaluating business models, prioritizing marketing campaigns, planning product rollouts and so much more. And, at the end of the day, the core focus is of course always to know your customers! The professors were absolutely engaging and made the case study process come alive, linking in today’s hot topics that are critical to the industry. Our class of 76 cable industry execs represented a wide spectrum of disciplines—including business services, my current area of focus—which really enriched the discussion groups and classroom insights. I know we’ll keep the sharing going on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages and beyond!”

We know our members are stars! Did you meet an expert sculptor at the TeleSeminar? Did a guitar hero eat lunch with you at The CTAM Summit? Let us know! Members in the Crowd pays tribute to CTAM’s exceptional members. Send nominations to Lisa Jackson.
