CTAM Nominates Industry’s Finest to Hall of Fame

Inductee to be Announced at The CTAM Summit in October

(Alexandria, VA – June 22, 2009) The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) announces the five nominees for induction into the 2009 CTAM Hall of Fame, honoring the industry's finest and most influential marketing campaigns and initiatives. The nominees are:

Comedy Central: Marketing of South Park
 
Fox News Channel: “We Report. You Decide.” Campaign
 
Time Warner Cable: Marketing of Road Runner
 
Turner Broadcasting System: Brand Marketing for TNT (We Know Drama) and TBS (Very Funny)
 
 World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.: PPV Events Marketing

Since its inception in 1997, the CTAM Hall of Fame has served to honor campaigns that have exemplified extraordinary marketing creativity and success. Qualifying work must have been launched a minimum of five years prior to the date of induction, and must demonstrate a powerful and lasting impact on both the nominated company and the cable industry.

The nominees are chosen by the Hall of Fame Committee, chaired by Eric Kessler, Co-President, HBO. The Inductee is selected by an elite group of active CTAM leaders, and is announced in a special ceremony during The CTAM Summit, being held October 25-27 in Denver.
