One of a Kind Award

CTAM Recognizes Excellence.

The CTAM One of a Kind Award was created in the memory of the late Roy Mehlman and is given periodically by former CTAM Board members to an industry executive who best embodies Mehlman’s willingness to give of himself so that others in the business might benefit.

2006
Chuck Ellis, former chief marketing officer, Time Warner Cable has been selected as the distinguished recipient of the 2006 CTAM One of a Kind Award. Ellis, a member of the CTAM Board of Directors for seven years - Chair in 1996 - is being recognized for his leadership, compassion and involvement within CTAM and the industry.

Ellis generously shared his time and ideas to build CTAM, particularly by leading the combined NCTA-CTAM On-Time Guarantee initiative. He was a member of the CTAM Educational Foundation Board from 2003 to 2005, led the reconstituted Customer Care Committee in 2004 and co-chaired SkiTAM for several years.

“Over the course of his distinguished career, Chuck has supported and mentored young executives, as well as new-to-the-industry and veteran colleagues.” said CTAM President and CEO Char Beales. “Chuck understands the motivating role of recognition and leads by example.”
