(National Harbor – January 16, 2014) The Executive Committee of the CTAM Board of Directors has announced the election of Gemma Toner, senior vice president, broadband product management, Cablevision Systems Corp., to a one-year term as Board chair. Toner has served on the CTAM Board for the past three years, and played a key role in the organization’s successful transition to a business marketing organization supported by member companies.
“I speak for the entire board in saying we’re thrilled to have Gemma lead our board,” said John F. Lansing, president and CEO, CTAM. “She has a deep understanding of CTAM’s mission, along with a razor-sharp strategic perspective that is critical to our success during this year of change.”
In addition, the committee elected Jonathan Hargis, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Charter, and David Preschlack, executive vice president, affiliate sales and marketing, Disney & ESPN Media Networks, to serve second terms in their respective roles as vice chair and secretary/treasurer.
