Former Communications Executive for Google, Facebook, and SpaceX
Dex Torricke-Barton is at the forefront of the global communications industry. Over the last decade, Dex has crafted the voices of some of the world's most influential leaders and organizations.
From 2008-10 he supported communications for the office of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. In 2011 he became Google's first executive speechwriter, where he worked closely with Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt. From 2012-2016 he led executive communications for Facebook and served as speechwriter to Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. After leading communications for SpaceX in 2016, Dex left to build a new grassroots organization, Onwards (www.onwards.world), aimed at addressing the social and economic causes of growing political polarization in the United States.
