Sree Sreenivasan runs Digimentors, a digital, social and virtual events consulting company working with corporations, nonprofits, and executives around the world. He has served as Chief Digital Officer of New York City, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Columbia University (where he was a full-time professor of journalism for 20+ years).
During the Covid19 crisis, he’s hosting a daily, global conversation with experts and a spin-off show on WBAI 99.5FM and WBAI.org: Coping w/ Covid19, a Helpful, Hopeful Call-in Show, Saturdays, noon-2 pm ET. For 6 years, he’s hosted #NYTReadalong as he and thousands of folks around the world read the print NYT edition on Sundays, 8:30-10:30 am.
He’s written more than 40 articles for the NYT and has been an on-air tech reporter for WNBC, WABC, WCBS in NYC and a monthly contributor to CNBC. In 2015, Fast Company named him one of the 100 most creative people in business and in 2010, he was named one of the 35 most influential people in social media by the Poynter Institute. In 2014, he was named most influential CDO by CDO Club.
