Championing and Elevating Over 1400 Industry Executives in its History

National Harbor, MD (April 5, 2023) — CTAM, the industry’s entertainment and technology marketing organization, will launch its 25th annual CTAM Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School on June 11, 2023.

The renowned program, offered by the CTAM Educational Foundation, provides media, entertainment, and technology executives with a week-long comprehensive curriculum to foster executive development and propel the industry forward. Created by esteemed Harvard Business School Professors Bharat N. Anand and Rajiv Lal, the annual program is uniquely equipped for preparing executives to determine revenue-maximizing strategies, evaluate techniques to increase demand and differentiate long and short-run market forces.

“For 25 years, the CTAM Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School has fueled innovation and cultivated high-impact leaders,” said Vicki Lins, President & CEO, CTAM. “The faculty’s deep knowledge within the media, entertainment, and technology space serves as the cornerstone for its continued success and upstanding reputation.”

The program serves as a catalyst, shaping the industry’s next generation of change agents. Past participants include Marcien Jenckes, President, Xumo; Sharon Peters, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Charter Communications and Mike Biard, President of Operations and Distribution, Fox Corp.

“My time at Harvard in the CTAM Executive Management Program was one of the most interesting, stimulating, enjoyable and thought-provoking weeks I’ve experienced across more than two decades working in this industry in both distribution and content,” said Jim Maiella, CTAM Educational Foundation board member and a 2022 program participant. “This program is truly one of those rare gems that anyone who has the chance should take advantage of, you will never regret the meaningful return on this modest investment of time and attention. Phones down, case studies up, it’s transformative.”

Last June, 70 senior executives representing 19 companies from across the cable industry gathered at Harvard Business School for the program. In follow-up surveys after the experience, 99 percent of attendees said it was either extremely useful or very useful to their jobs, and 92 percent said the experience was extremely effective or effective in helping them develop new insights and initiatives that could be applied at work.

The CTAM Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School is open for registration until May 1, 2023. Learn how to apply at info@ctam.com.
